Question about Epson Stylus RX580 InkJet Photo Printer
Doesn't appear to be a problem in Inkjet paper so far. Obviously the Epson clean cycles haven't worked. Ink could be on the rollers. How can I clean this area
I wouldn't give up on the clean cycles unless you have run 20-30 of the annoying things. If there is ink on the roller (probably on the bottom of the ink head)
you can clean this fairly easily using some household white vinegar and lint free paper towel. Just wet the towel and very gently wipe. The vinegar dissolves the inks. This will usually clean things far better than anything else and can restore an old dead printer to the point it can print like new.
