I have a trutech thin lcd tv model number plv1615t when i plug it in a red light flashes for a little then it stays on. after that it nothing happens i cant trun it on buy button or remote.

Yes,the tv power supply board probably have dead components,likely a couples of capacitors on the power supply board have gases leakages,it dead,not funsctions any more.Take it to the tv shop pay for trouble & repair for you,this tv name are spacially made for and sell by the Target stores only.Very limited whole board parts,available on the net to buy.
the power supply in this unit needs to be reapired or replaced, there is a fuse but I would not recommend changing it unless you have a tech do a visual exam of the caps in the power supply unit otherwise you could smoke the whole tv. Good luck
