We lost the signal - only goes to default instead of 119 or 110

    We have a sattellite dish on our boat - we have lost the signal - when we try to go by instructions on the menu or with the technician, we are getting nowhere. We need to be 119 or 110 not default

    we have dish 500 with kvh trackvision c-3. we can not get a signal. turn on and it says satellite default. it should say satellite 119or 110. when we run set up it says no switch detected. went through procedures with kvh and they say everthing they see through computer is ok. we have had service for two plus years at this location with no problems. there is nothing blocking our c-3 to the satellite.

    have done this several times. now it says checked switch and waite for weather to clear. that is not going to happen as it is clrear as abell. now it says satellite: default, should say satellite: 119 or 110.

Can you please tell me which model of projection television you have and do you use the computer to show the films ?

If you use the computer then bee sure that all the cables are connected you do that in this way :
shut down the computer, shut down the Projection Television Take the cable off both places (computer and Projection Television) then reconnect the cables. Turn on the both components and retry.

Please bee sure also if you use the computer that the software(if you use additional software) also are configurated correctly.

    Hi again,

    PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT THE COMPONENT CAN SHOW MOVIES WITH A MOVIE DVD OR INTERNET TELEVISION

    Hmmm, it sound more like the receiver you use that are cofigurated in a wrong way, maybe some have touch some configuration there or It have a malfunction now.

    Here is another manual and here are some trouble shouting too (look at page 4) It says if you naot have the satellite signal you have to look at the satellite configuration (section 4.1.3). Take a look on that !

    Here it is :
    4.1.3 Incorrect Satellite Configuration
    The satellite configuration on your IRD must match the satellite
    setting on the TracVision C3 system.
    • Satellite A on the TracVision C3 must be the same
    satellite as IRD Alternative 1 (or A, based on your
    IRD) and must be assigned the IRD DiSEqC 1
    setting.*
    • Satellite B on the TracVision C3 must be the same
    satellite as IRD Alternative 2 (or B, based on your
    IRD) and must be assigned the IRD DiSEqC 2
    setting.*
    * DiSEqC settings apply only to European systems.
    Refer to your IRD user manual for complete instructions on
    configuring your IRD.

    What satellite TV service do you have and what receiver are you using? Are you saying you can not change the channel 119 or channel 120?

    Do you have a satellite signal meter? If you don't have one, you may want to buy one. It is quite inexpensive. Anyway, if your meter shows strong signal, your receiver is probably shot. If your meter does not show any signal, you may have a bad LNB.

Gps singal lost


Often, when your GPS is in a "covered" area ... e.g. inside a building, in a tunnel, under a bridge, amongst / under tall buildings, etc... when there is no open space (directly) between your GPS and the satellites, your GPS will loose its satellite signals. If you're in such locations, try to find some "open space" and wait a bit for the signals to be picked up again.
Another common reason why the GPS doesn't get signals, or doesn't get the signals quickly, is because the "latest" satellite positions (locations) have not been updated in your GPS. If/when you connect your GPS to your computer (e.g. using HOME ) and download the GPS satellite (QuickFix) location information, your GPS will have the most recent locations of the satellites in your vicinity/region. With this information, your GPS can pick up the signals more quickly ... instead of having to search/scan around to find the signals ... which can take a bit more time. While your GPS is searching for the satellite signals, it shows the "signal lost" or "no GPS signal" message.

I am unable to send a signal via aux 6 from a channel to ONLY the K sub. The only way I get signal is if I raise the channel fader but then the signal goes to the house L/R mains as well. How do I send a...


It appears that AUX6 is default factory strapped as POST FADER. If you want to change that you will have to disconnect jumper L to A for all channels you want the AUX to be pre-fader and instead connect K to S for the option jumpers. I don't know if this requires soldering or whether they are push on jumpers. These should be available in the back cover. In ADDITION you will have to run the switched pre/post fader switch in the PRE position which will make ALL AUX's that are strapped this way PRE FADER.

Pickture is shown 2 sekunds, then it go black. power on LG RD-JT30 and see a pickture thru RGB-signal and after 2 sek the pickture go black


if the lamp is still on and no picture transmits, reset the settings to factory default. the resolution doesn't match or the signal is lost. if the lamp goes out, you may need to replace the lamp. check the lamp for bulges, black spots or fogging. if the lamp is ok, check the colorwheel. if you hear squealing or chirping and it stops when the lamp goes out, replace the colorwheel. if that is ok, replace the ballast.

Picture goes off and on every couple of seconds


If you are hooked up to a HD source if the signal is too high will cause this to happen. Normally this will happen due to signal interuptions such as signal being low will cause freeze, too high will cause it to go out and cause the TV to show default blue.

Instead of using your WEP key say "Rosebud", use the hexadecimal value it creates instead. Enter it in all lower case. You should work find at that point.

That will be a problem with the XM box you connected to it, call xm see if thay can help, the radio is just liike a screen for the XM nothing more the box controlls all of it.

i figured it out with help from a delphi service rep.! you need to go into the menu and reset to factory default.this will erase everything you have changed from the factory settings,but once done you can reprogram your settings and they will stay. step 1-enter menu step 2-reset factory default settings step 3-reprogram your preset stations,FM freq. colors etc. step 4-use power button on the roady to turn it off.once the roady shuts down turn it back on with the power button. step 4-now you should be able to turn the key off without erasing your presets.

This would mean that your signal is being lost. Instead of snow like from a analog signal you get digital breakup when you get low reception. You need to reposition your antenna or get a better one with a little more power. Nothing wrong with your tv though just not strong enough signal.
