More than likely the battery back up is being used or the battery back up unit has gone bad. There is nothing else on a garage door opener that can beep. Look in your book ti decipher the beeping and color of the led codes it is giving you. Thanks

My craftsman garage door opener is beeping (2 hours). How can I stop it

Our garage door opener has a safety beam across the floor which prevents the door from closing on objects which are sitting there. This safety feature also makes an annoying beeping sound each time the beam is crossed. This tutorial will show you how to disable the beep, but still keep beam functional. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cn_vGe_7_x4

Battery is bad. I removed it and garage door opener is still beeping. It is driving me crazy. Help

as long as garage door is powered(plugged into outlet), then with a removed battery backup or a bad backup battery, the unit will beep to alert you to the issue. replace the backup battery with a new/good one.

Guardian garage door open will not close, it beeps 12 times

optic sensor issue most likely. check alignment, check wire for breaks, check staples shorting out wires. it you hold the wired wall button and the door closes, then it is a sensor issue. you can also just jump the terminals where the wires connect on the opener motor and see if it works normally, if so, again the sensors are the issue.

The dooor does not close and open after I have change the motor's battery, the motor only beep, what could br the problen

Try manual release and move door without the opener. If it moves freely , may be a problem with the drive motor or limit switches or even something blocking the photoelectric sensors.

Alarm on garage opener is going off

Do you have a model with a battery backup on it? The battery, like most batteries, eventually wears out and will start beeping. If you don't have frequent power outages in your area, or have another way to gain entry to your home if there were a power outage, (like an old fashioned key), locate the battery which is approximately 4"x5" located on the outer side of the opener motor head, unplug it and forget about it. This would get rid of the beeping noise. Or you can replace the battery.

I ahve a beeping sound that is coming from my garage door opener.

If you have an opener with battery backup this may help. BBU stands for 'battery back up.'

This is battery related. On top of your unit is a battery pack with three colored led lights. You can tell what is going on by looking at these. This information is in your manual or here it is.
GREEN LED: All systems are normal. A solid LED light indicates the batteries are fully charged. A flashing LED indicates the batteries are being charged. NOTE: Batteries do not have to be fully charged to operate the motor unit. YELLOW LED: The motor unit has lost power and is operating off of the BBU. A solid LED with beep, sounding approximately every 2 seconds, indicates the motor unit is activating the door and is operating off of the BBU. A flashing LED with beep, sounding every 30 seconds, indicates batteries are low. Once the power is restored the BBU will recharge. This is indicated by a flashing GREEN LED. RED LED: An error has been detected and the BBU will automatically shut off. The BBU will attempt to restart by reconnecting to the batteries. If the error is still present it will shut itself off again. This process will repeat every 5 minutes or until the error has been resolved. This is used to prevent further draining of the batteries. If a red LED remains on when the power is restored, and is accompanied by a beep sounding every 30 seconds, please call for service.

All started when the chain got loose, I tried to force it back in place and I end up braking the gear on the top of the Garage Door Opener. I replaced the main shaft that holds that gear and put...

10 beeps signal a blockage. This is what happens: the control board monitors the current absorbed by the motor; when a mechanical fault or something else is blocking the movement the motor automatically tries to overcome it by delivering more power, in the process absorbing more current; this current triggers the warning and the door system goes in danger mode - it returns the entire unit to the original state (fully closed or fully open). This happens like that so if someone gets caught it won't gets squished.
In your case the damage is internal, in the gearing between the motor and the chain sprocket - it occurred when you have tried to install the chain. You will have to completely dismantle the motor and its gearing to see what broke in it and fix it if possible. Worst case scenario: you will need a new unit.
