You remove the cover you will see two spring one is larger than the other, and there are one adjusting nut on the top of each spring, bigger spring nut is for cut out and smaller spring nut is for cut in,unscrew the small nut is for quick cut in and screw the nut means longer time for cut in

I have a1994 chevy van 30 1ton dualley have problem removing rt drum as the ajusting screw frose on me .

hi!! had to help my dad with this once!! he let brother do his brakes!! if
you can not under any terms spin it back, use the biggest pry tools possible
to try to turn it back!! if not, try to pry/break the adjuster out of the way
thru the slot. i know there is not much room, but that would relax the shoes
the only other way is to get a die grinder and very carefully, start at the12
o'clock position and cut almost thru the drum, dont cut all the way thru or
you will destroy alot of stuff, work down the drum a ways. try to break it
open in the cut at times with a large hammer and big chisel. thats it!!
sounds likes fun, i know! good luck, the only way is to break the drum !!

I have the Janome MO644D. The seam is extending far past the edge of the fabric with really big loops. It almost looks like a tension problem, but I've tried adjusting it, flossing the thread through...

s-l300-pupyr0ualaj20obfvyre1rzh-1-0.jpg I think the right 'finger' on the plate is out too far. You may need to adjust your cutting blades further to the right until your cutting blades are in line with the right finger on the plate. Sometimes I have forgotten that I set my cutting blades for a rolled hem and then went back to regular tensions and plate but forgot to adjust my blades back to regular serging.

How do i adjust air pressure cut out

Square d recommends that the pressure switch be adjusted to specifications of the particular switch (which is sold in pressure ranges preset at the factory). The switch will be erratic it adjusted out of the factory setting range.
From Square D: (adjust the desired cut-in pressure first, then cut-out)
Cut-in: The large spring controls the cut-in pressure. To make adjustments, turn the nut clockwise (compressing the spring) to raise the cut-in point or counterclockwise to lower the point of cut-in.
Cut-out: The small spring is the differential adjustment and controls the cut-out pressure. To raise the cut-out pressure turn the small nut clockwise (more differential); to lower the cut-out pressure turn counterclockwise.

I HAVE A POULAN PRO 260 42cc 18 inch THAT IS 5 yrs old REPLACED BAR AN CHAIN . WENT TO CUT SOME TREE LIMBS CAN NOT EVEN MAKE ONE FULL CUT AN CHAIN COMES OFF AFTER 4 TIMES WENT AN RENTED ONE.

Remove the new chain and compare it against the old one. Do the new drive teeth match the 'pitch' of the old chain? If incorrect, the chain cannot be adjusted properly and will 'climb' over the sprocket due to the chain teeth not matching the teeth on the drive sprocket. Getting the proper chain is the answer in this case. Hope this helps!
