Press and hold the power and home button.....continue holding after the device powers on and until you see it resetting. at this point release the power button and continue to hold the home key....after the device has finished, you may try the restore again....more than likely the file you are trying to restore it with is corrupted..........if your device is not working now, then it should after the reset sequence....
