Yes it is possible. This is one way how you can do it:
-First of all, locate the battery and notice the battery number. You must order a battery with this number. -Remove the front screen surround -- just gently prying does the trick. -Undo four T8 screws holding internal works to outside body. -Remove internal works from body. There is a cover/clip for the bottom panel (where the car mount connects) that just falls out once the insides come out -- pay attention to how it fits in, so that it can be replaced on reassembly. -At the base you will see silver foil covering , the foil needs to be peeled back in places, but you should left as much of it on as possible . -Peel back the foil around the speaker, and remove the two T8 screws, being careful not to disconnect the speaker -- it only needs to be moved aside. -Continue peeling back the foil down to the circuit board, but leave the board itself covered. You will need to manipulate, but not remove, the thin metal "cage" that is shown removed and behind the unit. -On the still-covered circuit board there are four T6 screws that need to be removed; one on either edge at the bottom, and one on either side of the car mount in the middle top. -With the foil loosened and the screws removed, manipulate the metal "cage" to expose the two T6 screws securing the black plastic battery holder. Be very careful not to accidentally disconnect any of the wires/cables. -Remove the battery holder, unclip the old battery, replace with new one, and reassemble. -The unit should be able to power up as soon as the new battery is connected, so I tested it a few times as I reassembled, just to be sure I hadn't jostled anything loose as I went along.
Please keep in mind though that replacing the battery will void the warranty.

The battery itself has a deep discharge protection .
Or the electronic or the battery its a new
phenomenon where you can have bought electronica and a triggerswitch and you have measured the electric field on 0.3 ohm on both 2x3 coils and the battery measured on maybe 15 Volt and it do not give nothing yes the lamps burned , but there was not an charger in my case delivered so i am also waiting for this problem by a Makita Jigsaw because a colleague has allready a electronic circuit and switch ordered and tried with that battery and an other battery but no life at all, so a new battery should may be working. or a broken or new damaged electronic part was delivered. that brushless tools are a young technical thing, many brands have.
the teething problems out, by the switches and the power mosnfets(panasonic) Makita is new for me this comparable problem a have also have yesterday.
next week i know more about a possible solution.

My Suzuki Swift Sport has been unused for about 2 weeks (due to my broken shoulder). It now wont start, in fact there is no sign of life at all in terms of any electrics. As the battery in my keyless...

Sounds like a battey issue. Sometimes these trickle chargers don't exactlly have to deep cycle setting usually needed to charge automotive grade batteries. Take you battery to a local parts store to have it checked. The service is free, and if the bettery is gone, they can assist you. The battery would be the only logical thing to see first off. One being that Acid filled batteries are designed for everyday use, and once used once, depend on a fresh charge and a fairly regular basis. Another thing with acid filled batteries, not every one you get will be of the utmost quality. Since most use a standard lead cell battery, they tend to be less tollerant to heat and will fail regularly.
Make sure you check the battery before you make any purchase, because once a battery is installed, regardless if you have tried cranking to car, it is considered to be installed.
I told you the most basic things to do, because these are the free things. I like free, and I hope this gets you going in the right direction.

hope all is well
and thanks for the inquery.

Hi, I have a Casio Cassiopeia EG-800STD Pocket

Yikes, this is a tough one, as i havnt used one of those in well over 10 years.. i do remember the battery life was around 5-8 hours max.. getting a new battery for one may be quite difficult. you may check around ebay however be warned that this is over 10 year old tech and you may be just purchasing a battery that is over 10 years old with no knowledge of the quality of the battery. My personal "opinion" is to get as much of your information out of it while the device still works, and replace it with a modern device such as a small android tablet or blackberry.

Battery replacement navman icn530

Besides the two screws the back lit is "clicked" to the front lit. I used a small screwdriver and carefully pushed it in between the front and back lit and after some careful manouvering it clicked open at several positions. My battery was glued to the electronic print! Again using the small screwdriver and watching carefully not to turn on the power I was able to remove it. This procedure is certainly not an advocate of Navman! But in my case it worked ....

Get the CHDK plug-in for the S3; it will then show you battery life as a percent. Note - you'll need access to an SD card reader to install it.
