One wheel moves when brake is released

Today I was using my quinny and it worked perfectly. I put it into the car and when I went to use it again one of the wheels remains stuck when I release the break. Any ideas what I can do????

Take both the wheels off give all parts a rubb down in wheel area then try again if it persists lubricate the inside of the wheels as the breaks are pin type and settle into a groove to stop pram migh be getting stuck x hope this helps x

TGA Breeze S4. Why doesn't it freewheel?

hi George, if you took the brake apart , you reassembled that incorrectly as there should be a slight gap when moving the lever into free-wheel to allow the motor to move freely...Normal you put a plate the wrong way during reassembly ...a common mistake...

Now with the free wheel working correctly both wheels will move in the same direction when the brake is released either by powering forward or backwards or using the freewheel lever has released...what you described is a normal action ...because they can move independently...that's by design.. so strip the brake again and make sure plates and springs if fitted are the right way round...

Left e-brake on and drove 6 months ago wrecking the cable which leaves the e-pedal down. And now no e-brake. Today rotated the tires and put the truck back on the ground only to find that it will not...

Pull the ebrake pedal up with your foot while pulling the ebrake handle with your hand. The ebrake on the wheel that is locked just disconnect it from the wheel brake! cheap fix

Hi, i have a 96 ford contour, it has been sitting in a driveway for a few months but running perfectly. just the other day we went to move it out of the driveway and the rear brakes appear to be stuck... i...

often the parking brake cable does not release after the car has been sitting, causing your problem.
I would jack up the rear end, put both sides on stands, and get underneath and see if there is any play in the cables. If the handle is released there should be some slack and you should be able to get some movement, with a set of vise grips, on the cable where it enters the back of the brake drums.

My brake on my quinny buzz no longer works - help!

This happened to me on both brake pedals, nothing happened when I put them on, the pedals just did not move at all. I tried adjusting the brakes as per the dorel video on you tube, but still nothing. My husband found the solution though. He worked some oil into both pedal mechanisms and worked it through until both pedals moved again, once he had plied through a couple of times, both pedals and the brake now work fine, just turned out the pedals has seized over the years and just needed a good oiling. Worth giving this a try.
