I will double check my supplier to see if they actually stopped making them but even if they did almost all breakers will interchange with other brands like a siemens and a ge will interchange etc. any electrical supply store should be able to cross reference your model number to one that will work

I have a Concept II self cleaning oven. It says "Hold" on the display. No matter what I press, it doesn't go back to normal. Need help please. Thanks a lot!

You might have luck shutting off the power to it for a few minutes. If an electric range: locate a double pole 50 amp circuit breaker (or 2 50 amp fuses) - or look it up on the panel directory - and shut off. After a few minutes, turn back on. If a gas or LP type, should find a single pole 20 amp circuit breaker (or fuse) and do the same thing as the electric range.

Cost for a 200 amp circut breaker

Any home supply store can give you the local cost. An additional cost will be even greater than just changing breakers. You must also change out the incoming service drop conductors. There may also be a need to have the power company's transformer supplying you home changed out. Check it out to be sure.

Can I use the existing 40 amp double pole breaker?

Hi,

Rule of live by: Each unit must have its own breaker. Cooktop needs 30 amps and a double oven needs 40 amps. Never combine the unit as the amps flow if too high can cause the wires to melt. I hope this helps. Be safe!

Looking for upc code for circuit breaker thql 100 amp or the e a n code

The General Electric THQL two pole 100 amp double breaker?

http://www.azpartsmaster.com/Products/Circuit-Breaker----GE-THQL-100-Amp-DP__BKRTHQL21100.aspx

It's coded HACR.
Heating, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration equipment.
Means it can be used with electric motors. Electric motors draw a surge of electricity to start.

The UPC code will be for THAT style of breaker, and THAT manufacturer who made it.
Same with the EAN.
It will be on the breaker.

Let's use the Connecticut General Electric THQL 21100 100amp 2-pole breaker for an example;

http://www.plumbersurplus.com/Prod/Connecticut-Electric-THQL21100-100-Amp-2-Pole-General-Electric-Thick-Series-Plug-In-Circuit-Breaker/159077/Cat/1478

Here you see it's UPC is 094925005165

If you are trying to purchase, or guide someone remote from you, in buying a breaker that will fit their service panel, find out what service panel it is.
The Model Number.

This will tell you, or a representative that sells breakers, what General Electric style of breaker that is needed.
Or state it in a Comment, and I'll look it up.

I have a wood planer with a 3HP 220 single phase motor wired to 20amp circuit breaker in my house. I usually run the planer off a 12gauge extention wire about 30ft from the house plug. I would like to...

Look on the planer to see what the R.L.A. are, for example 16.0 amps. Set a box with 2- 20 amp fuses, or a double pole 20 amp breaker. Do not exceed the amperage of what the planer says on its data plate. If the R.L.A. is 10.0 to 19.3, use a 20 amp.

GFI on cord trips out.

Probable cause is a single pole gfi opposed to a double pole gfi.
* Do not use a single pole GFCI ON A MULTI WIRE CIRCUIT, IT WILL NUISANCE TRIP IMMEDIATELY
Use a two pole GFCI circuit breaker on such circuits.

Need Alternate for Federal Pacific Breaker

Does the panel have room for the breaker?

Federal Pacific is a brand name panel and you may be able to find breakers at Home Depot, Menards, or Lowes if those stores are in your area. Bring the panel number to the store with you.

Here's a link for additional info:

There have also been some recalls for these panel breakers. See:

You need to put in what we call a sub box. This should be done by a licensed electrician, but if you really want to do it yourself you will need a distribution box some wire and it has to be connected directly to your main lags from the meter box, this box will have a main breaker built into it and spaces for additional breakers, depending on your existing wiring the electrician might chose to wire the additional box directly to your meter base and not your existing box. Either way you really should seek local professional help on this project, just for your safety and to satisfy your home-owners insurance.

Have a great day..
