When i plug playstation 1 into tv and press play there is no game visible and i have no instruction manual to follow

I had a similar problem. My PS3 did not start the disk based games. Those disk based games were not visible in the game menu.

I did not have problems with the normal movie DVDs or movie Blu Rays. Those were working fine. Also downloaded games were working ok.

definitely a prob with the blueray laser u need to bring it back to shop or sony as there is no way u can fix it yourself.
