Hi i cant connect the CX5400 printer to my WLAN. i

hi i cant connect the CX5400 printer to my WLAN. i have already tried directly plugging it into the wireless and also attempting to connect through the original computer but it wont pick up the printer. what do i have to do and do i need to buy anything?
