SOURCE: Casio Exilim s500--horizontal lines in picture and autofocus creates blurry pics

It appears this problem is due a failing CCD device in many brand cameras. All the manufactures use the same source(s). I have not persued Casio as yet, but other companies are offering a recall to replace the CCD for free. I plan to use this approach with Casio. Search the web for "failing CCD in digital camera", it describes exactly what we are observing.

SOURCE: Casio Exilim s500--horizontal lines in picture and autofocus creates blurry pics

If the photo shoot out show white , the obscure (quality variation), and even horizontal line ( white lines), and so on over-exposure cases, even if the use of anti-tremor, set to default values are invalid, because the camera shutter fault.

It's need repair camera machine shutter.

SOURCE: The focus on my camera doesn't work, causing my videos and pictures to be blurry.

Focus motor is bad. Usually very expensive to replace alot of times more then the camera itself

Blurry picture if zoom is used ( no Sharp mage)

I'm out of practice because my camera suddenly stopped working 6 months ago, but I don't recall having a problem with blurry pictures when I used the zoom. Sometimes, it takes a few seconds for a pic to come into clear focus. I think the trick is to just keep working with it.

Some of my pictures are blurry using a cannon rebel 3. how can i fix this problem?

There are several possible causes for blurry pictures.
1) Camera motion. If everything is blurry, it's most likely because the camera moved while the picture was being taken. Make sure your shutter speed is fast enough if you're handholding the camera (longer lenses require faster shutter speed). Alternatively, put your camera on a stable surface, such as a tripod or a tabletop.
2) Subject motion. If the subject is blurry but the background is sharper, then the subject may have moved while the picture was being taken. Use a faster shutter speed. Raise the ISO if needed. There are limits, of course. If you're trying to photograph a fast-moving object in the dark, you probably won't be able to.
3) Improper focus. If the subject is blurry but something else in the picture is sharp, then the camera probably focused on the wrong object. Move the focus selector to the subject you want in focus. Alternatively, center the viewfinder on the subject, press the shutter button halfway to lock focus, then reframe and shoot.
Without any more specific information as to what and how your pictures are blurry, I'm afraid the above is all I can give you.

My daughter has a Coolpix S210 and when we try to take a picture it is blurry/out of focus. I did a factory reset of settings but it didn't help. Any ideas if this can be fixed or what could have caused...

Take a few pictures with the camera on a tripod or a firm surface. Are they still blurry? Are you pressing the shutter button halfway to allow the camera to lock in the focus before pressing the rest of the way? Have someone watch while you take a picture...do you move when pressing the shutter?

My cyber shot's focus lens doesn't come out all the way.

It sounds like you may have a bad gear in the lens motor assembly. f you want to repair it yourself there is a guy in South Carolina who has lots of parts for all the Sony Cameras. I bought my LCD from him for $39.00 plus shipping and it works perfect. I put it in myself and saved a ton. If you buy the part from him he sends you pictures of him taking the camera apart so that you can repeat the process when you install it. I think his email is [email protected]

Blurry Pictures

Check that you have not got Macro set accidently.
If lighting level are low and the camera is selectinging a slow speed - reset to Apeture Priority -setting 'A' and and be very gentle with the release - the slightest movement will blur an image on long exposure.
Try these thing and if still introuble come back with more detail
