Reset the Darkness and use the setting to adjust the lightness or darkness of the output. Check the setting on the scan application as well as the 9250C.

Also check the document type and resolution settings.

If there is nothing strange about any of the settings then run the Calibrate Scanner function. If that does not cure the problem then you may have an issue with the quality of the lamp output or the scan detector and will need a service engineer to visit and rectify.

Digital sender 9250c is sending empty attachment

If it is sending an empty attachment, it means that the document that you are trying to send is not being scanned by the Printer. There are many reasons for this, one could be that the drivers need to be installed or reinstalled another is that it may need a service. In other words it may need some technical attention. The equipment within your scanner may be dirty, from time and/or use. First try installing the drivers, if it still doesn't work then try installing it on a friends computer/laptop. As a last resort, i would take it in for repair/service.

The Print Diagnostic Utility diagnoses and resolves common printing problems and communication problems, including:

    • USB: Ensures that the USB connection from your computer to the HP product is working correctly.

I ahve a HP 9250c scanner, and my computer doesn't recognize it from the usb cable. It says it's missing IEEE 1284.4 printersupport. What can i do to fix this ? I have already installed all the...

It sometimes happens because of the USB cable. try it out with a different usb cable. Don't try it out with Chinese made usb cable because at times computers fails to detect a new hardware or gives error. As I had faced similar problem.

Our scanner says check supplies and will not scan. What does this mean?

Make sure you have a network connection and can ping the unit. Had one today that only shown Check Supplies and Administration. Found loose patch cable and then Email option appeared.

HP Digital Sender 9250C Color Scan Problem

We purchased 2 HP scanners 9250C and have the same issue. Send it back to HP, they make some correction for firmware, after 1 day, everything is ok.
