Hi,

Have you tried reseating the CPU and Memory? Make sure only the minimum number of peripherals is present. Try it without any PCI cards.

Cheers,
Ripface.

Why wont car start after charging battery its an au falcon

Check you battery connections. If they seem ok then get a volt meter and check voltage at the starter solinoid. If it is battery voltage then the small wire at the solinoid have a helper turn the key to start and you should have 9 to 12 volts. If this checks ok then you should have the starter checked. If no voltage the if is a automatic then check the nuteral safty switch. or ingnition switch.

Have you tested battery voltage? ideally looking for 12.5v min.
If voltage is ok next thing to check is the cranking voltage drop, if it's very low battery problem!

Battery light comes on. Had battery tested and it's OK.Checked battery voltage with key off 12.04 volts, started it voltage is 14.45. The light comes on after driving for awhile.

OK, sounds like a bad voltage regulator or loose belt. But, it's more likely a voltage regulator on the alternator that is not supplying enough voltage to the battery over time.

For maximum peace of mind, I would have the alternator replaced if you experience any starting problems attributable to a weak or undercharged battery.

14.45 volts doesn't sound bad to me, for an initial voltage, but there may be a problem with the alternator (like a bad diode trio) , which controls the battery charge light pretty directly.

1996 oldsmobile eighty eight no start no power windows. Car stalled driving up hill. Fuses are ok, battery voltage is ok. Power windows did work before it stalled. Maybe a main relay could be the cause?...

How did you determine that the voltage is OK? Will it run the headlights, brakelights, and horn at the same time? It could have enough voltage without enough amperage(power). It could be a loose cable - that is what I would check first.

I think Power Supply does not worked then I was replaced it with the new but it still does not work, but when I released voltage of atx12, computer suddenly on and can not be stopped. Could you help me...

There could be many things that could stop the board from turning on, Determining if it works is like detective work. What I do, is take everything off the board to start. Then add the minimum to start a board to see if it will start. That's one drive (cd or otherwise) the CPU , and one bank of memory. (that's not a required eliminate, but it helps avoid beep codes) Also, make sure you have your pin's set on the board absolutely correct, or that could be your problem to begin with. Now, you should get the power supply on, and the cpu. If those don't power up, it's then either one of the five elements. The CPU, Power supply, Ram, Drive, or the motherboard. The next step is to replace each one of the first four to see if you get any change. If no change, then I usually get another board that I can test the first four, and make sure that they work. After that, then I say you have a DOA Board

Good Luck,

Mark
