Question about Motorola Mobility V66 Cellular Phone
I bought a phone off of E-bay and inserted the SIM card from the phone I have now. It fits fine, but the phone still says "Insert SIM" on the screen. What do I do next to make it recognize the SIM card?
The sim card holder has a tiny slide mechanism. After inserting the sim card and pressing it against the body of the phone, place your finger over the card and slide it gently forward. The tiny plastic part that holds the card will snap it into place. Hard to explain, but it will work.

Make sure you remove the battery before removing or inserting any SIM card. Unfortunately, I also get the "Insert SIM" message even after making sure my old SIM is inserted properly (and locked in place) in my Motorala v66 replacement.
