Hello,we bought all the pieces for the Morigeau lépine crib mecanism . We can supply the "Kit" for the Cribs drop side Mechanism. All we need is the fabrication date wich isprinted under the headboard or the footboard. We sell it by EBAY.COM and the search name is:Morigeau Lépine Cribs drop side Mechanism Thank you and have a good day! [email protected]
We needed a cam, too and contacted the company that makes them in Mexico. Look on the cam and there is the company name, I think it's Indaux or something similar. Google them and you'll find their site and examples of the cam you need. Email them and let them know which one you need and they should be willing to sell you one for not that much. Good luck!
If you have the pieces of this plastic guide you can go to the hardware store and buy some epoxy [glue] designed for plastic. This will do the job for you.
There should be a couple of little plastic clips (curvy) on the bottom of the rail, last stop before the floor. If one or both are either missing or broken it will simply fall out. Call Simmons directly (www.simmonskids.com for the phone number) and they can sell you the pieces. Mine came in about 3 days and they're very easy to replace.
There is a company that sells replacement parts for this crib. You can go to http://www.productsamerica.com are call 1-800-772-1041 and they can help you.
