Fatal Error 5 is normally indicative of a Disk Failure. Because the OS can't read the portions of the drive.

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

I think I would be more inclined to ask Iomega (Lenovo) themselves.

My daugher connect my precious Screen Play Iomega

There's really not much to troubleshoot other than reseating all connections and recycling power. Are you connecting this drive via usb cable? It's rare but it's possible for a cable itself to go bad or the usb port on the pc/laptop.
Once you rule out those things, then you can say the hd is bad.
If it's still under warranty, get in touch with the vendor for a replacement. It would cost around $1000 to $2000 for data recovery so if it's worth that to you, I'd recommend either Ontrak or Cherry Systems. Both are good companies.
