the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).

SOURCE: HELP!!! Phaser 8500 Error 09.035.43:28534

That is a cyan ( blue) ink stick count failure.
Look in your ink loader. First just try opening and closing the lid.
Then look for gaps in the cyan sticks. Most likely one is broken, cracked or otherwise jamed in the slot.
If you have to remove them, take a screw and screw it into the ink stick then slide it up the chute and out, then reload.
Hopefully someone didnt try to add or cut up a stick from a differerent phaser.
Thats your problem. Just a stuck cyan ink stick.

09,03x 35 = Cyan 36 = Magenta 37 = Yellow 38 = Black The error indicates an ink stick was jammed. You have to clear the ISC (ink stick count) error. Turn off the printer. Turn on the printer. As soon as you see XEROX start moving across the display hold down the back and help buttons until you see "beginning service mode" on the display. Release the buttons, it will now come up in the service mode. Scroll down to the function menu, hit ok, scoll to clear isc faault, hit ok. Hit the back button to get back to the first menu then exit diagnostics, hit ok when it asks if you want to restart in customer mode.

This is an internal power supply error. The 50 Volt supply has a fault, or there could be a short on the supply rail.
There could be an error in the Head Maintenance, Deskew, or pick clutches.

I think you will need a qualified technician to fix this.

The Xerox support site indicates there is a paper jam to the printer, so you should check the paper tray, front and exit cover for any jammed paper then power off and back on the printer. The printhead is stuck in the tilted position. Did you have a power outage or turn it off by unpuging it? Not hard to fix but you have to tear it down and rehome everything. sometimes if you turn it off and turn it back on it will find home on itself. But rehomeing it works every time. If you dont know how to do this call a service center.
