Question about LG VX8300 Cellular Phone
My lg vx 8300 phone got wet, I bought A new battery and I can use the phone while plugged into the charger but as soon as i unplug it, it powers off. Any suggestions?
There's corrosion buildup on the contacts from the battery to the circuit board. Depending on how bad the rust and corrosion is, it may be a permanent thing.
Whenever a phone gets we you should NEVER try and put electricity to it, it just continues to fry it. Always take the battery out ASAP and let it air dry for 3-4 days - 1 week depending on how bad it got wet.

Try taking out the battery and blow-drying where jack goes. Keep air on high fan and heat on cool. Also blow dry where battery goes.
