Question about Dell Inspiron 1525 Notebook
Sounds as tho your hard drive has gone bad. Try re-seating the hard drive in the laptop while it is off and then re-booting. If still nothing, goto a local pc store with your old drive and ask if they have a used one around 20-40 gig for real cheap, under 20$ and test it, or ask them if they could just test with a different drive.
