I have an Atwood GGA-8E about 6 months old was getting hot water but now the water is only luke warm, any adjustments?

There should be a temperature setting on the gas valve. It should be on top or front and have several settings normally vacation, warm and hot. Rotate dial towards hot setting to increase water temperature. Hope this helps. Thanks

I have a rheem water heater and it has went into vacation mode and i have no hot water. how do i get it out of vacation mode

Do you have the model number? There is usually a temperature control knob on the heater that you turn to VAC, that just keeps it lit. Usually, setting it to 120°F is adequate.

No hot water.

Please get an expert in - this is either the breaker is faulty or you have an electric fault int he boiler. You can try and replace the breaker - but match the current rating. But this could be dangerous if you keep trying to reset.

Hot Water Overflow

Do you have an expansion tank tank  in the line leading into water heater? If not what is happening is that the water is no longer allowed to go back into the city supply.  You said that you had turned it off while you left so the water heats up and has no place to go so the preasure/ temperature P/T valve  opens and lets out the excess water from the expanded supply (heater water) that has no where else to go. It used to be that the extra expanded water just backed up into the supply pipe and back into the main. That is no longer possible in most places by the  National Plumbing code.    The answer may be to install the expansion tank into the incoming line. You can see then now at  all hardware stores where water heaters are sold.
