Well you gotta ask yourself if you have an external hard drive or removeable hard drive which are basically the same thing... if so you can open my computer and then open in a separate window the removeable hard drive and drag and drop files that you want to save!

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

you just right click on the d drive and select explore or double click it, there won't be anything in the drive apart from maybe a system back up file.
when in there make a new folder called programme files
If you have a lot of programmes installed on your c drive, then uninsatl them and reinstall again, but when the option comes up to install in a specific folder choose 'D' drive then choose programme files folder, the programme will then be installed there, but will still put an icon on your desktop as normal.
you can also transfer any video or music to the d drive, just make a folder in the d drive called music and video, select your music you wish to move select 'Cut' then open the folder on the 'D' drive and select paste.
Also run this free programme to clear your system up

There's a free program that works great for partitioning hard drives and restoring boot logs. It's called GParted and can be downloaded at the link below. You can choose from there if you want the Live CD or to run it within your operating system.
