If the water is running into the machine and is running right out as fast as it goes in, then check your drain height and sure it is within specifications. I will attach a photo for reference. Your question was not clear to me. If this is not the problem, then I would look at a problem with the water inlet valve. Please let me know whether the drain was the issue. If not, I will provide additional information. I suspect the drain because you said you just changed the location of the washer. Sorry for your trouble and I hope this helped. Best wishes.

Rather than wait, I will just go ahead and give the other info now. If the drain height was not the problem, then I would look at the water inlet valve. Unplug the machine, turn off the water, and remove the water supply hoses. Check the small metal screens inside the openings on the valve. Make sure they are clear of rust of debris. The solenoids can be checked using a multimeter or ohmmeter. Check for continuity. A lack of continuity means a bad solenoid and the water inlet valve assy will need replaced. Here's a photo for reference. Best wishes.

My haier front loader was working today then stopped and said error 5 it's model is a hwm1070kFL

The Haier hwm1070kFL error 5 indicates a problem with the incoming water. Either the water pressure is low, any filters in the inlet system are clogged or the water is draining out of the unit (pump malfunction or suction from the drain hose being below the water level in the washer).

The first thing to check is the incoming water pressure. Turn off the valves for the incoming water. Then disconnect the hose from both the washer and the pipe. Check any filters. Reconnect the hose to the pipe and place a bucket below the hose. Turn on the water valve and check the flow rate. (You may want to replace the hose while you have it disconnected. Many modern hoses are designed to seal themselves if they detect leakage. This will stop or reduce the flow of water through the hose.)

Next make sure that the drain hose outlet is 80-100 cm (~32-40 inches) from the floor.

If these steps do not help, you need to check the inlet valve, the pressure sensor and make sure that the drain pump is not moving the water out of the washer during a fill cycle. These may be steps for a service technician.

I hope this helps.

Cindy Wells
(I live in an area with a rural water district. It isn't uncommon for the water pressure to drop due to problems in the system. Until the maintenance person can find and fix the leak or pump issue, a washer with sensor like this that detects how long it takes to fill the tub will give the low flow error and stop working.)

Today was the first time this has ever happened, the washer filled with water as normal, I left on an errand expecting the load to be finished when I got home, nope. All the water was there in the tub,...

This is modst often caused by a defective lid safety switch. This switch will allow water to fill but no other washer action until the lid is down, it is the the #1 most common cause of your problem.

GE GSLS1100 Spacemaker won't spin or drain. Washes fine then makes a rattleling noise during spincycle.

When I first started using my washer when I hooked up the water it would fill the hose and then stop until I started the machine. Now when I hook up the washer to the faucet water starts to fill the machine before I close the lid and before I start the washing process....? The last time I used the machine it didnt drain and I had a flood, is there a problem with it now???

Hi, I have a F & P top load washer (model GW701-U) over 10 years old. I use cold water washing. The water fills up very very slowly- just dribbles. After about 7 minutes of the water filling up, the...

Turn off the water to the washer, unscrew the hoses ( do one completely before moving to the other)Once you unscrew the first hose you will see a small filter screen inside the opening on the washer,Remove the screen and clean it, replace it and reattach the hose,Now go to the other hose and do the same thing, once both are done and hooked back up, turn the waterback on and everything should work as normal.

Kenmore 80 series will agitate but not spin or let water out.

Hi, I know washer had a party, he just need a dancing partner, joking, that's a common problem, when machine is not properly level, you should used spirit level, to level machine, after leveling machine, place both hands on machine, and try to rock it from left to right, forward and backward, and it should not have any play, if there's play adjust legs to compensate, water has to be pumped out first before machine spins, rhere's something wrong with water pump, maybe some fabric stuck in pump impeller, or maybe wires disconnected from water pump, remove back of machine and check connection to water pump, check for kink hoses, visual check, if wire were remove, connect to water pump, you're smart. good luck.

Water fills to normal level, then drains (not on the floor).

You need to raise your drain hose a minimum of 30". Check this out and hope it helped. Best wishes.
