Problem for D-Link AirPlus DI-524 Wireless Router

Wan settings are wrong?! I have an di-524 when i connect the router to the modem and choose dynamic ip option it tells me that my wan settings are wrong now if i connect directly to the modem my computer will get an ip and i will be connected to the internet (my lan options are on dynamic ip and i run winxp professional)
