The beeps are a BIOS error code. 2 beeps means that there is either something wrong with the RAM or the motherboard.

The best way to tell (if you have 2 RAM chips installed) is to remove one of the RAM chips and try to boot again. If the same happens then swap them with eachother. If it happens again you will have to purchase a new RAM chip from a store that will let you try it then return it if it doesn't work.

If you still get the same result with the new RAM then its a motherboard problem. If the laptop is still under warranty it should be covered. If not it's best to trash the laptop and get a new one. A motherboard replacement can cost almost as much as a new laptop.

This a memory parity error.
It is telling you your memory is bad. Try replacing the first stick of RAM and try to boot again.
If your computer has built-in memory, it means a new motheboard.

You first said that it gave 2 beeps. As I said before, this indicates a memory error and your computer will not work until you address that error.

How to skip bios setup

F2 is your BIOS Setup enter key?

As SOON as you press the Power On button, start tapping on the F2 key.
Tap in 2 second intervals.
You may hear beeps. These are Stuck Key Error code beeps. You know what they are now, so just ignore them.

The BIOS Setup screen goes by F-A-S-T. You have a very small window of opportunity. This is why you are tapping on the enter BIOS Setup key, as soon as you turn the laptop on.

In BIOS Setup there is an option to bypass the P.O.S.T screen.

Probably the hard drive is dead. Did you drop it recently? Anyway, it could be just the connector, if your good with hardware you could open it and check. I would suggest you to use the warranty though.

Your operating system has been corrupted. At this point, you have to get all your information transferred onto another computer and then do a clean installation of the operating system of your choice.

The 2 beeps are an error code. It can mean a couple of things; 1. Bad or improperly seated RAM; or 2. Bad or improperly seated video card. The F2 option will take you into bios setup. But I would try the video card option first as it is the usual culprit in this situation. Hope this helps & please rate this solution fixya. Thanks.

Blank screen on start up

It means that your system cannot detect Windows on your hard drive. Check the connections inside if you can. If everything is connected properly, then your hard drive is probably is at fault. You can do a disk check in dos but may not be accurate.
