Question about Mitsubishi WS-55513 55" Rear Projection HDTV

Big Screen TV not working

I have a Mitsubishi Big Screen TV Model No. VS-4542 It was working very well, we shut the tv off. about 5 mins later I turned on the tv and the picture came on and went off. I have sound but now picture.

Check your video input cable or replace, maybe it is damage if not Video chip problem etc

Well if your tv is older like the one in the pic it sounds like the bulb is overheating, you may want to vacuum the dust out of the back and make sure it isn't got block of air flow in the back and also make sure it isn't up against a heat source

HI there,

Check for any bad solder on the mainboard of the TV, and also check for any burn fuse on the powersupply area... BAd solder was very common problem on Mitsubishi TV..

No, just get a miracle remote for Mitsubishi and problem solved... http://www.miracleremote.com/ We have several here in the shop and they will operate EVERY function of the original at a fraction of the cost..
