Question about Nikon D70s Digital Camera
The camera says err on the top display. When I try to take a picture, sometimes it won't work at all (little soft click) and other times it makes a very strange, slow shutter sound and still won't take the picture. It looks like someone found a fix on this site but I can't find the solution.
When you see Err on the control panel, LCD monitor or viewfinder of your digital camera it refers to a camera malfunction.
Try the following:
1.Remove all accessories from the camera.
2.Install a freshly charged battery into the camera.
3.If your Nikon camera offers resets such as the two-button reset or a hardware reset please follow those instructions provided in the product manual.
It could be a bad motor problem or the connection between the camera and the lens. Try gently removing the lens. Be sure both camera and lens areas are free of dirt or debris. Be very careful NOT to get any dust, dirt or anything in the camera.
