First, pull the paper out of the paper tray to temporarily halt the printing.
If there is a printer icon in the lower-right of your desktop screen, double-click it.
The print queue for the printer will appear.
highlight the document and select [Document] [canel]
[OK]
wait a moment before re-inserting paper into paper tray.

Turn the printer off and unplug the printer cable from both ends (printer and computer ) and cancel the documents from the printer list.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

My HP 960c won't stop printing. I get mostly blank sheets with jibberish at the top, but it's continuous.

Turn off the printer. On the computer in the lower right by the time, there should be a printer icon, double click it. This will open the print que. Select all documents in the printer que and delete or cancle them. You may have to reboot the computer for this to clear completely. Once the que is clear, turn the printer back on. Do a test print to the printer and see if the issue is cleared up. If not you may need to reload your print drivers.

Hope this helps you

Printing 2 and runs off page

check your print settings before you print anything. the left margin might be from the ink cartridge not going all the way over or it could be blocked by something. have you tried printing on just the internet alone? or have you tried printing on wordpad too?

I am getting unwanted black stripes when i do colour-printing. on my old pc i used to be able to clean/test the printing head but i dont have that facility now & can't see it on the net. any tips...

First run a cleaning cycle and test print. You can get this from Control Panel - Printers - Select Printer name and right click - select Properties and then Maintenance.

Then

1. Select Normal or Best, rather than Draft, in the Paper Type/Quality option in the Page Setup Screen.
2. Align the print cartridges. Select the Calibrate panel on the HP deskjet utility screen, then click the Align button.
3. Decrease ink density or drying time.
a. Click File > Print > Paper Type/Quality.
b. Click the Ink tab.
c. Use the sliders to adjust ink density and ink dry time.

You say it stopped working mid-print... possible paper jam? Ink cartridge not clicked in all the way? (they should all line up evenly across the tops).
In control panel->printers and faxes, right click on Canoni960 and choose properties. In maintenance tab try to do nozzle check and print head alignment. In lower right corner is status monitor, click to see if any useful information in there.

Printing won't cancel

When you say it is printing "unwanted pages," what is it printing? Are they blank? If so, you may need to reformat your pages. What program are you printing from?
