Hello,
When I scan something on konica minolta bizhub c250 and send picture to the folder on computer, it says "Job has been done impropely. Check the log" on the screen of scanner. How I can fix it?

You have to check the settings, check that everybody can read/write to the folder you share, be sure to give the right path to the directory forr printer. maybe you have to use name and pwd

create a folder on the pc you want to scan to and share the folder on the network. This must be done or the printer will not see the folder. Then register a new SMB user on the bizhub and direct it to that pc's IP and the shared folder.

Printing PDF to Bizhub c252 issue


I had this once. We simply deleted the Printer Driver and reinstalled it. Also, when reinstalling the Printer Driver we chose the PS (PostScript version).

Job has been done improperly check log files


The first thing to try is to restart the Bizhub. Power switch for that is located behind the front panel where the toner cartidges are. Not the switch to the side of the operation panel.

If that doesn't work, you need to check the job history. Press details, there will be a description of the error.

Server Connect Error: The Bizhub cannot find your computer.
Things to check:
Firewall, ports that need to be open are TCP 139, 445, UDP 137, 138
Netbois resolution not working, try using your PC's IP address instead.
If using Host Name to resolve, try Host name in uppercase.

Folder Not Found:
Check to make sure you are using the correct share name. Not necessarily would be sd.

Login error:
Need to use a Username/Password which is an active account which has priveledge for the shared directory. If on a domain, use a domain authentication string for the username (username@domain.com) If on a workgroup, \\COMPUTERNAME\Username If your password rotates every 60-90 days, could be that all you need to do is update the Bizhub with that information.

We have a KM c250 that we use for scan to desktop and occasional faxing. Starting last night we started getting an error when scanning. In the log is says that it is a Forward TX Error. To my knowledge...


hello this can be caused if the scan sends to a wrong IP adress. If the machine that you are sending scans has dynamic IP (dhcp), then the ip can change as you reboot the computer. To solve this, have a fix IP adress in your computer's network preferences, and check if scan sends to this adress

Scan job returns error job is done improperly. Check log 6385


I had this problem when sending to mail account.
This can also be changed for ftp/smb.
So maby this is the answer to you problem.

Solution: Extend the time-out from 90 to 300 seconds

Goto the setting of the machine (http://<ip>) and login with Administrator account.
On the page Network click on Email/SMTP.
Change the Time-Out setting to 300 seconds.

We have set up a scan on a C352 using SMB and scanning to a shared folder on our file server. The scan included user name and password with authority to write to that folder. We get an error that the job...


Check the log/details.

It will clarify if it is a server connect error or a log-in one.
It will give you the details as to where the function is falting.

It may be as simple as entering the file path correctly.

Scanning to SMB


you have to input your computer name instead of ip address. also you may use reference or something to look up your computer form lan network, thats the best way. and if you find your computer and shared folder and first scan is completed successfully you may add this path to address book
