Press Func set., on the left hand side of the display third down is the drive mode, you can choose the time you want to set you self-timer for. Hope you find it. =)

Can't find the self timer!!

Press the FUNC/SET button. Use up/down to select the nested rectangle icon fifth from the top Use left/right to select the desired setting. Your options are 10-second, 2-second, and custom.

Automatic shooting (for group pictures)

The feature you need is the "self timer" on page 14:


When you press the shutter you will have up to 30 seconds to get yourself in the picture before the camera automatically takes the picture. For best results put the camera on a tripod.

Self timer

1. Press the Func/Set button
2. On the left side of the LCD, scroll down to Drive Mode icon (usually a square, third item down)
3. Use right arrow key to select clockface with 2 (2 sec delay) or 10 (10 sec delay)
4. Press the Func/Set button

Now whenever you press the shutter button, the camera will delay 2 or 10 seconds before a picture is taken. Use the same steps to go back to normal (square icon) drive mode.
