My flash isn't working anymore!! (fz50)

the button to activate works with everything else but doesn't turn flash on?off, auto flash - nothing, what's happened?????? bulb not gone?

Find the setting for "conversion lens" in the menu, or tools menu.
Turn it off.

Turning the "conversion lens" on blocks all flash function.

The conversion lens is a extra lens that you can purchase to screw onto the front of the main camera lens for extra zoom or wide shots but it blocks the flash, so your only meant to turn it on when you have one fitted.
