The e280 8gig it doesn't come with a cd instalation, it only works for transfer music in media plalyer 10 or 11 sync. another way to tranfer his drop and drag to do this open my computer then open the device u will see file just as music, photo, videos drag and drop the musica files into the file. if poppoed up apear it happen to me too the only thing i did was switching usb ports to a diffrent port. www.scandisk.com for and updates select downloads. it will said drivers downloads select sansa firmware updates but before it has to be unplug. when download finish u need to restart then plug e280 open sansa update in desktop it will show u e280 if new updates are availble. also check the system requierments for compabilities. hope this help if not u can contact sansa coparation there listing in support. hope this help,

Hi i hoked my sansa mp3 player in to the usb and then i took it out and didnt turn on what do i do

You are suppose you use the safely remove hardware option,
you just don't unplug a usb devise without telling windows
to release it.

Remove the battery, then put it back in, restart windows and plug it in,
wait till it see;s it, then in the bottom rt corner of windows in your
taskbar is a little pic of a usb plug, mouse over it and click it, a window will pop up that say stop devise. Make sure you know what letter is listed
under my computer for it, it might be E,or F.

Plug it into your computer via the usb cord and bring up the players contents on My Computer>Player and delete the contents within the folders you want, most likely the Music Folder.

Go into My Computer and see if anything pops up once you plug the Sansa in. If it pops up open it up from there. Sometimes this kick starts an Mp3 to install itself.

Delete music

when you plug it to usb cord and the computer then you can "reformat" that is the only way to remove music...you need a computer, don't use Vista it is not compatible with anything yet...
use windows xp and when you plug in your mp3 player m250 it will ask you which program to choose from to open your files on the mp3 disk...its easy...

Sansa clip 2 gig computer doesnt find

This is the method that will force Windows to recognize the Sansa: Try this: disconnect the player from the computer, turn it off, hold in the volume + button, and reconnect the player to the computer while holding the volume + button in. Keep holding the volume + button for an additional 5-50 seconds. Windows should eventually go into recovery mode and revive the player- it will pop up a window that says Found New Hardware Wizard.

Sansa logo appears-nothing else

Hey have you tried installing a flash player I believe thats the format it works on, It should be installed with your windows media player but maybe it is not. You can try that and see if it works after that, I sure Hope it does, When you plug it in you can't see it in my computer under F disk or D or E disk, try it no promises but I am trying for you Oh yeah Look in your device manager when you plug it in and see if you get a yellow Question mark by a usb connection, If you do open the properties on that mark and update make sure you are on line when you do this, Man I sure hope this helps u out I hate when something just won't work and its something simple, Well If not I will research more for you, It makes me mad It won't work for you. Let me Know Hey and Happy Holidays
