PAPER DOES NOT FEED THROUGH - TRIES TO PICK UP AND

Sounds like the pickup roller is worn, you could try giving it a little more grip by giving it a clean or in more severe worn parts that are out of warranty i have used a fine sandpaper to rough the surface a little, just be sure not to leave any particulates on the roller. to remove the part simply locate the big dark rubber wheel at the back of the paper feed, with the front door down and the toner cartridge out, to my recollection the rubber part should be attached via a half moon shaped plastic insert that clips in at the top and hooks in at the bottom. so get your fingers behind the roller at the top and give it a pull and it should come away and then unhook, then give it a clean or find a better area of rubber on the item and swivel it round to that point, then hook it back to the bottom hooks on the bracket and push rearwards to clip it back onto the bracket at the top. hope that solves it, if not use some rubber bands around it to add a little more grip, shame to chuck these things away,
