I had this same problem which is how I came across your post, and I found on the Rival website ( www.rivalproducts.com ) you can email the company and tell them the model number and they will email you the manual, and if you're like me and hate to wait that long, you can call their customer service number and tell them what you need and they will email you the manual in about an hour. The number the website gave me was 1-800-323-9519, and I also realized there was also a number on the box too.

Purchased fryer in Dec of last year and it has stopped working already. Will not heat up. It does get somewhat warm but it will not heat to full temp. The store I purchased it at no longer carries it or I would exchange it. How do we fix the problem?
