Question about Acer Aspire 5920-6727 Notebook
I have an Acer Aspire 5920G that was purchased in Jan 08 and I am having a recurring problem with the screen, it starts to flicker and I get white lines across the screen. Eventually the screen goes totally white but when you move the screen it sometimes stops. It has been back to Acer twice and both times they have replaced the VGA card. Any ideas on what the problem is, is it the VGA card or something else so that I cab go back to Acer
The lcd cable is probably loose, you can open the lcd by removing the rubber dots over the screws and separating the bezel from the lcd, unscrew the lcd and lean it fwd after removing the camera cable, the lcd cable can be easily plugged in when lcd it leaned fwd.

It is probably a loose or crimped LCD cable, either on the main board or on the back of the LCD panel itself.
