Question about Dell Inspiron 6400 Notebook
Memory stick pro stop recognizing by dell inspiron 6400 laptop.Cannot restore to earlier date as the restore points were deleted. I think it was a tune up program that deleted the restore points.
Any help appreciated
Try your memory stick to any other computer check if memory stick still working. if yes then update the BIOS of your computer by downloading the latest BIOS from the dell support site. If memory reader still not working after updating BIOS then have that part replace or if it is integrated with motherboard have your motherboard replaced.

I suggest going into the control panel/device manager and removing all the usb devices.
Restart the computer and let it find the devices again. That might help.
Also--have you tried the stick in another computer just to make sure it works?
