You still have some 'hair line' cracks there. What you can do is reheat all the points with a soldering iron and if you have a bad trace there, use small 'phone wire' to by pass the trace and solder it in at the two ends.

If you wish to get more details; check the sites linked here. It has set-up code list & set-up procedure to many popular brand remote controls. Common set-up codes to check with TVs and other devices are given, in the order of the "device's brand name list" in alphabetical order. Pull up older posts.
Search the site by type in the brand name to your device, in the "Search box at the top right of the display window" to see the set-up codes to your device, with different brand remote controls.

I have a JVC 13" the screen goes to a thin line,

This is purely a DRY SOLDER JOINT on the mother board. The fault can be found our if you can use a good light and observation lens , use a good soldering station to redo the solder on drive IC's and power circuits.

Please give me z card i need some so bad please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You may have one of two problems. A vertical one in which you may have horizontal lines across the top of the screen. Or one bright centered horizontal line. The fix here is to resolder the vertical IC and replace the capacitors near and next to the vertical IC. The second problem would be the dead set. In this case , the power supply will need reworked. You will need the following components. Replace the powerline regulator STR53041, the regulator N4923 and capacitors of these values, 25 volt at 100 MF and a 35 volt 22 Mf. these components are near and next to the regulator STR 53041. Now,next to or in front of the flyback transformer there is a small cap at high voltage...I believe this one may be a 200 volt at 1 or 2.2 Mf. replace this, and the other capacitor near two heat sinks on the edge of the board in front of the vertical IC is a 25 volt 220 Mf cap that is also dead. It has been a very longtime since I have repaired this one. But the information, will get your TV up and running again! Find an electronic hobbiest or a TV tech to repair this for you. This info will help you get a reasonable repair bill. Thanks for asking and show a few hands of support.

TV won't turn on and red light is flickeringn on my toshiba19A25 set

The flickering red light is an indication that power is low for start up. I have not repaired this particular TV. But the obvious is answer is here. Your TV is not receiving the necessary voltage for start up. You need to replace bad capacitors near the flyback transformer and the horizontal output transistor. Should be two there. Next check the capacitors near the vertical IC, you may have to replace three here. You will need an ESR meter to find these bad capacitors.Resolder any and all ICs mounted to heat sinks. Check all grounds of large resistors on the main board and check the solder grounds on the small board mounted to the back of the picture tube. Thanks for asking.....should give you a good start for repair. Show a few hands of support!

Picture screen shrinking from top

You may have a bad capacitor near the flyback transformer. I would suspect a 100volt 10MFcap in this case. Or check yor caps near the vertical IC. I have repaired the larger Philips TV that had this problem, not the small one you are asking about. The repairs would be very similar. Thanks for asking! And Good Luck!

1.In this case the problem is usually found in the high voltage power supply. Most probably is the vertical IC defect.
Warning : This procedure has to be done by an expert. It is risky and can cause death to those who dont have knowledge in repairing.
A.) Open the unit and try adjusting the screen variable found in the flyback transformer. Notice any pattern on the screen of your tv.If their is a horizontal white line on the screen the defect is the vertical IC,replacing it can remedy the problem. Also check the 24v supply of the vertical IC coming from the flyback transformer. If their is no 24v get the resistance of the fuseable resistor and rectifier diode.Usually the resistor opens and the diode create short circuit.
B.)For most, make sure that their is no loss contact or cold solder on the board.

Sanyo DS27880 TV, vertical sweep is gone, sound ok

Check for cold joints on the vertical chip. DS27880 sets use a la7841 typically.

If soldering doesn't fix it, simply replace the vertical as well as the 1ohm 1/2W resistor and
the fast recovery general purpose (nte556 equiv) near the flyback.

Flyback transformer on television

Single white line across screen mean a vertical colapse. So you will need the vertical output and maybe a cap around 100uf@50v.

The vertical output IC has stopped working. The vertical output IC is the part that drives the coils in the yoke that spreads the picture up and down. This could be because it has cracked loose from the board (solder joints) or it simply burned out. Sometimes a bad pump-up cap will cause the vertical output IC to short out, and when the IC shorts out it often opens up a small value resistor next to the flyback. This is a relatively easy thing to repair. A qualified tech will be able to tell exactly why the vertical output has stopped working and repair it for you.

Vertical Diffusion

completely resolder the virtical circuit, including the vert. ic. i have also at times found an open resistor near the flyback that provides b+ to the vert. ic. if you can find a pinout if the ic, find the b+ pin & trace it back to the fluyback. good luck.
