Question about Plumbing

Open Question

I recently bought a Jebao WP-650 Low Voltage Submersible Water Feature Pump which came without instructions. Do you know how to clean the filter on this product, or even if it has a filter?

Check the condenser if it is restricted in any way it will decrease ice production. Check for water overflow from the sump. Any more water than necessary entering the sump will also cause a decrease in ice production.

SOURCE: Bosch WFL 2060 Washer pump issue

If the pump is working then you will not need a new board..
Remove the pump from the m/c, connect live and neutral supply to the pump, it should run.
If it does then your problem could be an internal blockage in the m/c.
Hope this helps

SOURCE: No water coming out when I backwash. I cleaned

water level must be about the discharge (eyeball) in the pool to back wash. Check the hose connections to make sure that hoses off the the filer head are going to the right place Look for the words "Pump" , "pool" and "waste" molded into the valve. I've seen it a number of times where "Pump" and "pool" were connected the wrong way.

I have a submersible water pump It seems to suck ...

That is pretty much par for the course with a submersible pump. Eventually the pump will be damaged by running dry as it depends on the water to keep it cool. Can't you set it up a little on something so it won't **** dirt?

No water from well.

If the water pressure reads 50 psi, then, the submersible pump is running okey. Do these:
1. Shut the power off.
2. Release the pressure of the tank by opening the
gate valve and free the air inside.
3.Drain the water inside your pressure tank empty by
opening the drain plug at the bottom.
4. Then, replace the drain plug .
5. Check the flow control valve. From full close
position, adjust to 1/4 open position. However, if it
is using a gate valve as flow control, Just open two
full turn counter clockwise.
6. Put the power on.
7. And start the submersible pump and allow it to
run until the pressure tank is pressurized.
8. At 20 psi pressure, open your faucet, and see if
you've got water.

I would like to know the result, so just send in your e-mail . Thanks and God bless you.

Is it possible that my well is going dry? second submersible pump I've burned up 1/1/4 hp gould pump lasted less than one mouth

several things will affect the pump, has there been a lot less rain than normal or using a lot more water such as more showers and toilet flushing ? if no then something else is wrong. the pump should3 feet from bottom of the well and should have roughly 10 feet of water above. when pump was replaced did they put it low enough in the well? The capacitor and wiring are they in good shape and supplying enough power? if voltage is low such as bigger pump or long wire run, too small a wire the voltage can become to low and cause pump failure. suggest having wiring tested first (cheapest) if all fine from there need to check water level and pump depth setting.

I need the instruction manual for a Sears submersible pump model M4D02B-01. I would like to use it to pull water from a lake and about 25 feet in elevation. It is rated at 230 volts but I currently only...

Assuming that your Sears submersible pump Model
M4DO2B-01 can pump water at more than 25 feet
elevation. You can run it even without a manual. Just connect your discharge hose up to the point of discharge. Use a 220/110 volts transformer with a rating of at least 3KVA. Connect your 110 volt line to 110 outlet of the transformer and the submersible pump to 220 outlet of the transformer. This 3KVA transformer can handle up to 1HP pump.Send your

Pond pump types

There are basically two types of pond pumps to choose from - externally mounted and submersible. External pumps were traditionally used in water gardens. They sit outside the pond, with a hose that leads from a strainer in the pond to the pump. From there the water is forced either to a waterfall, stream or fountain. Because external pond pumps are often noisy and require extra plumbing, they are usually not suited for most backyard ponds. Due to easier accessibility and ease of repair, however, external water pumps are often the best choice for larger water gardens and public installations. Submersible water pumps are usually preferred by most do-it-yourselfers. They sit underwater where they are quiet and unseen. These pumps are easy to install, require no priming and stay cool thanks to the surrounding water. Submersible pumps draw water from the bottom of the pond, either through a strainer or biological filter. A hose attached to the outlet then feeds water to whichever water feature you have installed.

Wash machine agitates but won't drain the water -- on any cycle choice. Machine makes noise like something is happening, but water remains.

Yes, the problem is the pump filter which is hidden behind the lower front panel. To access the filter, unscrew three screws at the bottom of the panel and carefully remove the lower front panel. Make sure to unplug the machine. With the panel removed you will see the pump filter. Get a bucket and some towels ready, because when you open the filter, you may get a gallon plus of water coming out. GE failed to put this in the use and care manual for the 6260. But low an behold, GE put an access door and explicit instructions on cleaning the pump filter in the updated 6400.

You may have burned out your washer pump. That is what happened to me. The machine would not drain or spin properly and so I kept pushing the blinking start/pause button to get it going again. Then it finally did not drain at all. I installed a new pump and with the cleaned filter, the machine worked like new. For some, simply cleaning the filter allows the pump to work properly. As the filter gets clogged the pump has to work harder and harder to pump out the water. When this happens the cycle times get extended . One symptom of a clogged filter is the final minute (spin cycle) takes much longer. Obviously this is a "design flaw" that GE "fixed" in the recent version of the 6260.
