To create application for your

Error code "8002F997" means your PS3 is having issues updating your system software directly via internet. As a workaround you'll use external storage media, such as a USB thumb drive, to transfer the software to your PS3
1. Requirements
- A USB cable (not necessary if using a USB thumb drive) - A PC with Internet access - Storage media or a USB Mass Storage device such as a USB flash drive
2. Downloading and saving the software
- Plug in your USB drive to your computer, and create a folder on the storage media in which to save the update data. Create a folder named "PS3" on the storage media/USB
device. Within the PS3 folder, create a folder named "UPDATE".
Be sure to save the update data as noted
below. If the data is not saved in the correct way, the PS3 will
not recognize the update data. The folder name must be in all uppercase
letters.
-> Location: Save in the "PS3" folder > "UPDATE" folder -> File name: Save as file name "PS3UPDAT.PUP".
3. Updating the PS3 software
Note:
Do not turn off the PS3, or remove the USB drive, during the software update!
- Insert the USB drive/storage media into the PS3 - On your PS3, from Home Menu (second icon from the left) -> System Update ->Select [Update via Storage Media].
The system automatically searches for and finds the update data saved on the storage media or USB device.
use another computer --- go to the site here -- you will need a USB thumb drive, once you download
the bootdisk information, save it on a thumb drive and then isnert into the Acer mini
http://sourceforge.net/projects/pcloginnow/ DOWNLOAD PCLOGINNOW FROM THIS LINK BURN THE ISO IN A CD BOOT FROM CD select an account and check 'is password empty' check box IT WILL clear the PASSWORD for that account
There are 2 things I can think of to help you out here. 1) Create a new account while keeping your other one. Once you're all set up again, copy all the data from your old account into your new one and when your finished, delete the old account. 2) You can get a portable thumb drive or hard drive, copy all of your game save data to the drive, create a new account, load the save data into your new account, and delete the old account.
If you believe that someone has your online informaton you are going to have to (sorry) delete everything and start from scratch.
Using a USB key is the worst thing you can do when you are video editing.
When you are editing video it is best to have the video clips on your main hard drive for the best Play back and rendering performance.
Video editing software doesn't actually change the original files, it just remembers what parts of the videos you want to use and then saves that memory in a project file, it does not save the video files. when you render the video it will make a new video file.
If you make any changes to the project files (Pictures and videos) in the project (e.g. name change, location, re-save) the video editing software will no longer be able to link the files back to the project and will then prompt you to re-link the files.
Also the performance of video editing software relies a lot on the data transfer speed. when you are using a USB drive you are cutting the performance down BIG time.
When you are using VideoStudio save all the files you are editing to the hard drive in one folder. when you are done and you want to transfer the project off, select File | Smart Package. What this will do is gather all of the project files and allow you to save to a USB drive and you can transfer the project to any other computer and open the project using VideoStudio without the relinking issue.
Create a folder on a CD or USB Thumb drive and name it PS3. within the PS3 folder, create a folder named UPDATE . Download the update and save it in the UPDATE folder. You can get the latest update via the following site: http://dus01.ps3.update.playstation.net/update/ps3/image/us/20090624_d69362743142953be7cb44a5fd5cc888/PS3UPDAT.PUP
Be sure to save the update in the UPDATE folder (this IS case sensitive by the way) or the PS3 will not recognize the update data.
Insert your disc or usb thumb drive and go to settings, then system update at the top, then press x.
Select 'update via storage media' and start the update. once completed, your system will reboot and you will be good to go.
The file you saved just tells your computer where to get the picture files and sound files on the slower computer. You need to copy those files also. The program should ask you where you saved the picture and sound files on the faster computer.
