Put your driver file into your programs file after creating a folder.
Double Click on "My Computer"...right click on "Open" ...Right click on Program Files...Put the folder with the files in the "Program Files".

SOURCE: not detecting any wireless networks

Try this.

According to manual. You are to install "Driver" first. Thus, turn your computer off. Remove Wireless card,rReboot, run Dlink supplied "Driver" while your wireless card is still out, complete the installation. Turn your computer off, install hardware, turn back computer on.

If this doesn't solove the problem, try allocating your computer near to router and try above step again.

How do you manually install a netgear wg111v2 without disk and computer can read it?

Best option may be to use a computer with an internet connection, go to netgears website, locate the product you own and download the driver onto a thumb drive and use that file to install the driver on the computer with the wireless adapter.

HP 530 wireless will not pick up any wireless networks. Please help

Hi.

First ensure that the wireless adapter is turned on.

If the adapter is on and does not detect any network, reinstall wireless network adapter drivers. the drivers can be obtained using the link below.

Download drivers and software

Reinstalling driver software usually fixes the problem, if it does not it usually means that the internal adapter is defective, in that case you will need to use an external wireless adapter (USB).

Just installed windows 7 cannot enable wireless connection

if you just installed win7 and you are having problems with an adapter on your computer that problem is usually related with the driver for that adapter and should be resolved by obtaining a proper driver for your new installed operating system.

if you computer was meant to support vista or win7 as per the manufacturer you can go to the manufacturer's website and attempt to get a driver for your wireless network adapter that works in win7. it's likely that you're manufacturer may not have that one yet but it's possible that one for vista may be out, download and install the vista driver for your wireless card and test the adapter to see if it works.

if you need help finding the driver, post back with your computer brand and model number. or simply go to the manufacturer website, go to the support area and look for driver or sofware download.

hope this helps!

Brand new aspire 5732z laptop comes up with code 31 fault on virtual wifi miniport adaptor says it has driver fault, what can I do

The Microsoft virtual wifi miniport adapter is a new feature in Windows 7, Wireless Hosted Network:

About the Wireless Hosted Network

This device is just a virtual device and it should not affect connecting the wireless network with the physical wireless adapter.

Hence, I’d suggest you to uninstall and re-install only the wireless network adapter drivers from Device manager and check if that fixes the issue.

Before uninstalling the drivers from the device manager, make sure you have a backup of the installation files.

It’s a good idea to create a restore point before uninstalling the drivers. A restore point is a representation of a stored state of your computer's system files. You can use a restore point to restore your computer's system files to an earlier point in time. Restore points are automatically created by System Restore weekly and when System Restore detects the beginning of a change to your computer, such as when you install a program or a driver.

Create a restore point
http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/Create-a-restore-point

Visit the manufacturer’s website, download the latest wireless drivers and save it on your hard disk.

To uninstall the wireless connection from Device Manager,

1. Click Start, type Device Manager in the Start search box and hit Enter.
2. Locate Network adapters and expand the same.
3. Select the wireless connection, right-click and select Uninstall.
4. Restart the computer, if prompted.

Drivers should get installed automatically after restarting the computer.

Now, you may install the latest wireless drivers and check if that fixes the issue.

Hope this helps
