Question about GE GSS25LGM Side by Side Refrigerator
There is a short DIY method. If you get to the back of the fridge, you will see the compressor. Above the compressor is a drain pipe or a small outlet that should drain directly into the pan positioned on top of the compressor. If you are able to physically blow into the pipe hard, it should clear the blockage in the line. Water will then flow again. (no blockage). If no pipe is there, push a separate pipe into that hole as far as you can, then blow. once cleared things should be back to normal. It could be beneficial if at some time, you defrosted the fridge and cleaned the sedimentation that came out of the hole.

The drip pan is located at the bottom front.. Pull the bottom cover off and you will find it there..

SOURCE: need to remove drip pan
Hi, This pan can not be removed without taking the whole frame apart. Best thing is to try and get a long brush (hardware stores sell them) and try and clean it that way.
Using very hot water might help loosen the grime in the pan.
I hope this helps you.
Please let me know if I can assist you further.

Hello, You will be unable to remove the drip pan since it is built in, use a curtain wire, push it down the hole..theres not alot of space but can be done until you feel the clog clear...if it's still iced up use some hot water to defrost the ice before you get to the clog..once you think you got it pour some water down the drain to test it's clear. Hope this helps. Good Luck!!!!
