Blocked ad-ons When I receive e-mails, many of them have a message that says "Internet Explorer is currently running with ad-ons disabled." Many times I can't open attachments, etc. so it is veryaggravating. What are ad-ons and how can I unblock them?

When you are on the internet go select tools on the top where file (etc.) is located click on tools and go to where it says Manage Ad-Ons

Receive message "Folder in your mailbox have name conflict". Not sure what that means nor how to correct. Do not understand instructions.

What mail client you have is saying that there is more than one folder like "inbox" etc that have the same name.

I Need more info to really answer the question. Do you use outlook or a web mail? If you use web mail I would recommend resetting your browser you may possibly have a virus.

If you are using outlook I would recommend backing up your pst file and re-adding your email.

Manually open the Reset Internet Explorer Settings dialog box
    1. Close all Internet Explorer and Explorer windows that are currently open.
    2. Start Internet Explorer. ...
    3. On the Tools menu, tap or click Internet options. ...
    4. In the Internet Options window, tap or click the Advanced tab.
    5. Tap or click Reset.

Enabling ActiveX

Normally when this message appears a yellow bar at the top of the browser is also present. In IE you just need to click on it and chose the option that says "allow pop-ups". In Firefox there should be an "Allow" button at the right hand side of the yellow bar.

How do I get my "ad-ons" back on my computer? At the top of the screen there is a yellow bar that reads "Internet Explorer is currently running with add-ons disabled."

try clicking Tools > then click Manage Add-Ons. If the add-ons are disabled, try enabling them. Once done, close the browser and reopen the internet explorer. Check if the add-ons are in place.

You need to disable any add ins.
For internet explorer :
go to tools and then click on internet options.
Click on the advanced tab and then click on reset web settings.
This should disable the ad blocker.

on the menu bar select on tools then from the drop down menu select on "manage ad-ons".
all the addon would be listed. their would be disable/ enable button on the window so select any adon you want then you download.

I am using Microsoft outlook can't receive mail bellsouth

step 1:
Try to check the mail using a browser(internet explorer). check whether that domain is under blocked list or not. Click on mail options and go to blocked domain list. check in your mails as well as your sister's mail.
step 2:
You can also check the blocked list in outlook :
click tools menu -> select options -> preferences tab ->click junk mail button-> click blocked senders tab -> check for any domains listed there.

Well depending on what version of windows this is. Try disabling any Firewalls you may have up by either windows or Antivirus programs.

you could try going to your add/remove programs and go to WINDOWS Components, remove Windows explorer and then re-installing it by using the windows CD. If all this fails, remove the update and go back to IE6.

Judging by the message your getting though, it seems you may have yourr windows firewall set to high on restrictions. Or you have more than one and there blocking you. make sure IE7 isnt set as a Blocked program.

You could also use windows restore to go back to an earlier date before the issues started. If you can get online, i would run WINDXP updates and make sure to get any of the important ones.
