Question about Frigidaire Washing Machines
If when you activate a program and then switch the washing machine off, and the water still continues to fill, then the water valve needs replacement. Some valves can be serviced by unscrewing 4 screws on the body once it is removed. No screws means not serviceable. Quote the model number and make to the supplier and order the correct valve. This information is situated on a sticker usually at the back of the washer. Valve is easy to remove. Remove top lid and then disconnect water pipe/s from the water valve.. Sometimes there are two valves in one.(Then replace the combination.).

Try unplugging. If it cuts the water off, you have a bad level sensor. If it keeps running, you have a bad water valve.
