Acer iconia tablet problem

Few things.
If you are talking about the built in speakers, make sure your volume is turned up. And make sure its turned up when the headphones are not plugged in. My android tablet has individual sound profiles so while I might have the sound muted when the headphones are not plugged in, if I plug them in, the volume jumps to my set level because that's where I turned the volume up to last time the headphones were plugged in. I've also had two tablets that the speakers went out completely on that to is a possibility but if you are talking about the built in speakers, check the volume levels first. You can get to them in the settings menu. Its worth noting that plugging anything into the headphone jack will "turn off" the internal speakers altogether.

If you are talking about external, plug into the jack speakers, on a tablet, you're going to need a set of powered speakers as that jack is not going to produce enough power to drive an un-amplified speaker. Make sure you are using a pair of speaks that plug into the wall such as PC speakers.

Second, if you are using powered speakers and still not getting any where, look at the jack end of your head phones and compare it to the jack end of your speakers. I know iPhones and other Apple devices have an extra connect which is why the Apple head phones all have an extra ring. My older headphones are worthless in my iPhone because they lack said extra connection. It's possible your tablet also requires the newer connection and the headphones have that while your speakers don't.

Broad answers, but I couldn't tell exactly what we were looking at based on the questions. Hope it helps, and good luck!

My kindle fire will not turn off. I let it charge all night then at about 7 it got stuck on a game. Why is it doing this?

Not sure why it does it but when mine freeze like that I just do the hard reset by holding the power button down until it turns off. I wait a few minutes and power it back up. I've had my Kindle for over two years now and it still works fine.

Computer wont turn on

Make sure the tower is getting power. There will be a green light on the back of the tower where the power cord goes. Make sure the cord is snug and that it is securely plugged in to your power source - I'm hoping it is a power surge strip and in which case, make sure the surge strip didn't get unplugged or turned off. If you have it plugged directly in to the wall then make sure that outlet has power by plugging something else in to it that you know works. After doing all of this, make check to see if there is a light on the back of your pc. If not, unplug the power from the back of the tower, wait 30 seconds at least, and then plug it back in. Hit the power button on the front just once, if it doesn't power up, press and hold the button in for a 2 seconds and release. If that doesn't work, your power supply may have gone bad. That happens from time to time. Good luck, hope this helps!

How do i set a radio controlled clock seth thomas hd 1688

  • Place your Seth Thomas atomic clock face-down on a table or desk and locate a series of buttons labeled "PST," "MST," "CST" and "EST" on the back of the clock. Press the appropriate button to set the time zone.

  • 2

Turn your attention to the small lithium battery-powered digital clock display on the back of your clock. With the correct time zone set, the digital display should accurately reflect the current local time.

  • 3

Locate the AA battery compartment on the back of your clock. Put two new AA batteries into your clock's battery compartment.

  • 4

Set the "Mode" switch on the back of your Seth Thomas atomic clock to "Run." Wait for it to adjust to the correct time. The automatic time-adjustment process can take up to 45 minutes, but is usually completed much sooner.

On a lighting tower i turn on 1 light and it draws 9amps when i turn on 2 they draw 30 amps and blow 15 amp fuse why ?

Why are you blowing a 15 amp fuse or why is your machine drawing so much current?
1:The fuse is blowing because you are drawing enough current to blow it.
2: Your computer, no matter what make or model should not be drawing that much current, your wall outlet is typically 15 amps.
Your power supply is most likely the culprit and may have damaged other components of your machine i.e the motherboard.
Disconnect the computer from the outlet, open it up and inspect it for burn marks, sniff for odd burnt smells.
I think you need a new power supply at the very least and maybe more.

    Security alert

This is a setting in your browser and or your firewall. There is an option to only view pages which have been correctly certified. Not everyone likes to constantly re-certify their websites and therefore this is a setting which is only useful for people to identify sites that may be phishing for user information and that's not all too helpful either, because even the certificates can sometimes be tampered with.
Change the setting in your browser and this will solve your problem.

Raidmax Sirius case not turning on

Recheck the wiring. Make sure the fans are all plugged into the proper place. Then try reseating the RAM, video card, & cpu. Make sure you have applied a good thermal paste between cpu & heatsink as overheating can cause the system not to boot. Hope this helps & please remember to rate my answer. Thanks.
