Question about Microsoft Xbox 360 Console
This i have seen before and it tells me the machines is displaying the signs of lead free solder failure (85%sure). you could strip the machine down and replacing the x-clamps at the same time do the heatgun fix if you dont have access to an IR oven.
To me it will just get worse and will definately need the x-clamps replacing AND the solder re-seating.
Its probably the GPU which is at fault, the 360 will happily run ok normally but when you start a game which requires HEAVY gfx it will just pack in
hope that helps in some way
