Problem for LG SecurDisc 8x External Double-Layer DVD RW/CD-RW Super...
It can't read or burn any data on any empty disks
It can't read or burn any data on any empty disks (CD-Rom/DVD)!
but it can read any other written disks like:
programs , Movies , audio disks , data disks
just when I put a blank or Empty disk it seems like:
Free Space : 0 bytes
Used Space : 0 bytes
I got my own DVD-Drive (Compact) existing in my laptop ,
but I want the (LG-slim 8x) working also .
I tried connecting it to an other laptop but it's (Windows Vista) not (Windows-XP) ,then it worked there , and gave me the free space and used space correctly .. so please what should I do to make it work on my computer ??

Some CD burners are either "+" or "-" or both "+ -".
That said you will have to check what type of burner you have. Example, you cannot stick a "+" blank cd into a "-" burner, and visa versa.
However, if your cd burner can read and burn both types, you should be okay.
