Question about IBM ThinkPad Soundcard
Hi, I suggest you to uninstall the sound driver you ve got from control panel, add/remove programs. Then download the uptodate driver from IBM support page: http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/MIGR-58931.html Reinstall it, should work, if not then you might consider to have an hardware issue, in this case I suggest you to contact the IBM support if still under warranty to get a replacement, hardware failure are covered by warranty terms. Thanks and have a nice day J-

I don't know if you've tried this, but hold the Fn key and tap the page-up key, which controls the volume up (the page-down key is vol down)

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
