Question about Canon PowerShot S200 / IXUS 178 Digital Camera
I have a powershot S200 and the image won't come up on the view screen. The battery got low, but I didn't replace the battery until recently. The camera still had the correct time/date, but it won't take pictures. The flash will work and I can review what is on the memory. My e-mail is firstname.lastname@example.org. Benny
This sounds like it might be a defective CCD imager. If so, Canon should fix this for you for free, including free shipping both ways. This is regardless of your camera's warranty status. Please check the following two links for more info:
