First of all do not update the BIOS unless prompted by the PC on the display. Then visit driverguide.com, register yourself(it is free) and go to this link:
http://members.driverguide.com/driver_search.php?q=GA-EP35-DS3L%2FS3L+Motherboard&si=b4015d55b92eedee43438376815e4d80&st=1253885566&gqm0=GA-EP35-DS3L%2FS3L+Motherboard
Select your OS and download the BIOS update.
Keep a back-up if the new version is not appropriate....................sodeep

GA-EP35-DS3L no video, no beep, with green, green, orange and red color

Please note that the motherboard is no the only part of a computer. In your case I would re-install the OS (I presume windows XP SP2). You say no video, no beep (does that mean the entire sound is missing?). I would say that most likely a re-install of the OS and drivers would fix it!
