Will sdhc card work in my fuji s700 camera

The SDHC memory card is a newer version of the SD card and will fit in the memory card slot. However the maximum memory capacity your camera is capable of is 2gig, beyond this the card may not work. You may be able to extend this capacity with a firmware update from the Fuji site.
The SDHC memory card has a lock the same as your SD card here is a diagram to make sure the lock is in the correct position for use. Remember also to format the new card and format after each download of pictures to the computer.

I have tuck my sd card out of my phone and put it in the pc to get songs on my phone then when i put it back in loads ov files have gone onto my sd card i carnt get then off wot can i do plz

Do you mean files like Recycler and System Volume Information?

If so, these are hidden files which windows puts on every drive.

You can see them by opening the folder for your memory card on the PC and going to Tools->Folder Options... Pick "View" and untick the box that says "Hide protected operating system files"

You should now be able to see the extra files and delete them. Be aware that if you use the drive in the PC, the files will re-appear.

Lastly, remember to turn this setting off afterwards - The files were hidden for a reason :)

I keep getting the error card not recognized when trying to use an Olympus M+ xd 2gb memory card. How large of a memory card will this camera support?

From what i know and i own a Fuji FinePixA360.According to the Manual 1gb is the highest amount of memory listed. Also you can not put a M+ (high speed) card in the camera will read error.Bascially the Fuji is an older camera and was designed for 1gb and must use the "M" xd picture card (DPC-M1GB) .Thats all the higher memory that was available when the camera was manufactured.I don't know if a 2 gb memory card will work but if you do try one make sure its the older M NOT M+.Hope this helps someone,Gary Malcontent

Does an Olympic M xD256 picture card work in a Fuji A360 digital camera?

it should as long as the fuji takes XD memory cards, you should be able to tell by trying to put the card into the fuji, make sure that the card goes in the right way, the manual should tell you which way the card goes in

What if a new memory card wont initialize?

Hi

The reason you are having this problem is that the maximum size memory card supported by this camera is 2GB. Any card with a larger capacity - like your 4 GB card - can not be initialised by the camera.

For reference see
http://www.mymemory.co.uk/compatible-memory/Digital_Cameras/Fuji/Fuji+Finepix+S7000+Zoom_Memory_Cards

Hope this helps. Please do remember to rate my answer. Many Thanks.

Memory card not initialized

You just need to reformat the card, which you can do through the camera.  I sometimes get this problem with my memory card when I take it out of my card reader without properly ejecting it first.  The camera will say something along the lines of "Card Not Initialized".  So, turn on your camera, hit "menu", then go to "option" (and subset "set up") , then "format" and go to the right and then click on OK and if I remember correctly, it will ask whether you really want to reformat, which you do.  Caution though---you will lose any pictures on your card by doing this.  But it should solve your problem!  Good luck!
